In the spring of 2003, we met at the Talbot house, University of Vermont's Lacrosse house, known for fun parties and good looking students. Alexa and John instantly became friends and had a connection. After graduation in 2005, there were a few summer trips to Duxbury, with Alexa's parents being so close in the Cape. Alexa then lived in Chicago for one year during her internship, where John did a business trip and they reconnected. We then started talking over phone almost daily. One month later John picked Alexa up from the airport, shortly before moving to Boston and the rest is history. We have loved each other since we met, but had to let our college years be a time for ourselves and finding out what we wanted in life. We truly feel like we're soul mates, with all the paths that have led us to each other.
